We originally made this spooky skull design to DIY stencil on t-shirts in the 1990's & are so excited to revive it for our new line of Halloween doormats. The Gen X cult movie "Desperately Seeking Susan" starring Madonna was released in 1985 and our Spooky Skull hommage is released 40 years later in 2025!
How awesome was it to be Goth and Gen X in the 80's?
Pretty fucking awesome. No technology, no cell phones, barely even any cameras! We were 'in the moment' every minute because that's all there was. No FOMO, no followers, no Likes or Shares. Halloween was every day for us, our homes were filled with goth decor and everyone wore black all the time. Halloween skeleton decor was everywhere!
