"Our house is a very, very, very fine house" opens the second verse of "Our House," the 1970 song Graham Nash wrote for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young after moving in with Joni Mitchell. Thi sis too cute to believe, but he wrote it the same afternoon he bought her two cats!
Two cats in the yard, a fire lit, a simple picture of a home two people built together. Fifty-some years later it's still the line people type into Google when they can't place where they've heard it, or when they want to caption a photo of their own overcrowded, cat-run household.
