Atithi devo bhava: Hindi welcome doormat
Guests are God. The Sanskrit phrase, written in Hindi, greets every visitor with the respect of a home that always has chai ready.
The coir version runs from a 16"x24" mini to a 36"x72" colossal and is happiest out of the rain. The all-weather version comes in 18"x30" or 30"x47": hose it off and move on. It's a housewarming or Diwali gift for Hindu and desi families. We can add a second language too. Not sure about size? Ask Tammy Sandwiches, our doormat matchmaker (a very good dog), or read How do I choose a doormat?
I am beyond satisfied with this purchase. It is exactly as described, the dimensions are perfect. The seller was quick to ship the item. And I was very pleased with the packaging. I was dreading having to unwrap layers and layers of plastic, but no! This item arrives simply in a cardboard box alone! ???
