Ciao doormat: an Italian welcome mat for coming and going

Ciao works for hello and goodbye, which is handy, because nobody leaves an Italian house in under forty-five minutes. This Italian doormat greets guests the way Nonna does: one word, and a plate already in your hands.

The coir version runs from a 16"x24" mini to a 36"x72" colossal and is happiest out of the rain. The all-weather version comes in 18"x30" or 30"x47": hose it off and move on.
