The door mat looks better than the picture. The calligraphy is beautiful and the Large size fits perfectly in front of the door. The mat is also thick and sturdy.

Much larger and darker print than our old doormat of the same design. Time will tell how it holds up, but the lettering seems more heavily applied, so I'm thinking it will be more durable than our old one. These designs inevitable wear down, but this one looks like it will have a longer life than our other two.

I"ve purchased this exact mat before for my mother's house and the problem is that even though it was placed under an awning it still faded to the point where the writing wasn't visible. I purchased again for my (indoor) apartment and it's better as it obviously isn't fading. It does slide around a bit on the carpet but other than that I'm happy with the purchase.
